The people of PROVA have many years of experience in wine tastings with cheeses and enjoy sharing their lifelong passion with you. PROVA's cheese & wine tasting provides a very solid as well as easily digestible introduction to what wine is, what different styles are available, the manufacturing processes for the different drinks and which cheeses usually feel right for the different drinks. During the evening, you taste the drinks and cheeses while the presenter speaks. We often ask what the participants think about the flavor combinations and the participants discuss among themselves.
The atmosphere is always good and light.
The taste of cheese is individual. We discuss saltiness, sweetness, sourness, goat's milk, cow's milk, and how to meet the taste of cheese for example with the help of marmalades for the wines.
Feel free to ask questions. Learning about cheese & wine is a playful process and nothing is wrong if it feels right. If you learn the basics, every new visit to a cheese shop will be exciting.
